Loma Alta MS student Kyron Tennison advances to National Abacus Bee After earning first place at the Abacus Bee at Region 20, 8th grader Kyron Tennison has qualified as a top scorer in the nation and will represent Medina Valley ISD at the American Printing House National Abacus Bee in Louisville, Kentucky.

Drones Team wins top Grand Champion trophy in competition Loma Alta MS drone teams competed at Boeing Center at Tech Port —ready to take on the 2025 statewide “Eyes in the Aisles” Drones Competition. Our team earned the highest overall score in the entire competition and won the grand champion trophy.
